About these terms

These terms cover your use of Zuno, its website and the app license offered by Shivam Rohilla under BuildMeAI. Contact if you have questions before purchasing or using the app.

Use Zuno only on a Mac and with files you own or are authorized to access and manage. The current universal installer targets macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Check the published requirements and product information before purchasing.

Your purchase and license

The current offer is a USD $5 one-time purchase for one Mac. It is not a subscription and there is no free trial. Taxes and any local-currency amount are shown at checkout. Downloading the installer does not supply a license or complete a purchase.

A valid license allows you to use Zuno on one activated Mac at a time for personal or business work. To move the license, deactivate it on your current Mac before activating it on another. Do not distribute license keys, resell access or bypass activation controls. Ownership of the app and its source code is not transferred to you; your own files remain yours.

Internet is required for activation and periodic license checks. There is no offline grace period in the current licensing policy. If the license cannot be validated, licensed features may be unavailable until validation succeeds. A one-time purchase does not guarantee lifetime updates, indefinite support or compatibility with future macOS releases.

Checkout, billing and refunds

Dodo Payments handles checkout and payment services. Review the displayed total, product information and Dodo buyer terms before completing your purchase. Their privacy policy explains their handling of payment and order information.

For a billing problem, mistaken charge or refund request, contact Zuno support with your order identifier and a description of the issue. Requests are handled under the applicable checkout terms and law. These terms do not remove any cancellation, refund or other consumer rights that apply to your purchase.

Your folders and file actions

You decide which locations to connect and which permissions to grant. Indexing and search do not decide which files you should keep. Project spaces collect links; they do not move originals into a separate project folder.

Review the actual files and paths before confirming an action. Cleanup suggestions, exact-duplicate matches, similar-photo suggestions and unused-app candidates are aids for review, not proof that an item is unnecessary. Similar photos may differ in ways that matter to you.

Zuno requires confirmation before moving selected files to macOS Trash. It does not automatically empty Trash. Moving a file to Trash does not immediately free its disk space. Keep current backups and do not rely on Trash restoration as your only recovery method. Zuno is not a backup or data-recovery service.

Using Vault responsibly

Vault protects imported copies and their filenames with encryption. It does not lock or encrypt original files in Finder. Exported files are decrypted copies outside Vault protection. The normal search index is not application-encrypted.

Keep your Vault password somewhere safe. A forgotten password cannot be recovered by us. Keep appropriate backups of important information and understand which copies remain outside Vault before removing an original or export.

What results depend on

Search and file results depend on the folders you connect, macOS permissions, supported formats and indexing progress. Supported English search phrases apply defined filters; they are not a promise that the app understands any request or uses a cloud AI model. Download-source groups depend on information saved with files and are not account integrations.

Permissions, changing files, partial scans and filesystem behavior can affect results and size estimates. Zuno does not guarantee that every file or duplicate will be found, that any specific amount of space will be recovered, or that your Mac will become faster. If an action looks wrong, stop and contact support before proceeding.

Support, updates and availability

You can contact us through the Zuno contact page. Describe the issue and include the app and macOS versions where relevant. No particular response time is promised.

We may provide fixes or change future releases and services. Availability can also depend on macOS and third-party services, including licensing and payment providers. We will identify material product or term changes; changes do not retrospectively remove rights granted for your purchase.

Privacy and your rights

Our privacy policy explains local processing, licensing, website visits and support information.

We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, warranties, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights. These terms do not require you to waive mandatory protections.
